RDG part of The Big Stampede

Raeburn Drilling & Geotechnical Ltd is supporting The Big Stampede in Hamilton this summer.

You may have seen some media coverage about The BIG Stampede which will see a herd of safari animals invade Hamilton from June to September 2017 as The BIG Stampede comes to town.

The large-scale Wild in Art event will bring businesses, artists and schools together to create a spectacular world-class sculpture trail through the streets, parks and open spaces of Hamilton and the surrounding areas.

Trail maps will be available from shops, libraries, community centres, hotels and other attractions. There will also be a smartphone app which will include incentives and rewards for visitors who scan different safari animals on their phone.

The herd of safari animals, including our giant rhino designed by Sandra Kerr, will be on display from June to September 2017, before being auctioned in aid of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity to support its work in supporting the 160,000 young patients treated at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow every year.

RDG have adopted the Rhino officially named Tartan Safari.   Keep an eye out for Tartan Safari and all the other safari animals on your travels around Hamilton!
