Geotex 08 provided the opportunity for Raeburn Drilling and Geotechnical Limited together with her sister Companies Terra Tek Limited and DTS Raeburn Limited to showcase their current ideas more closely linked with the policy issues surrounding environmental challenges in the geotechnical field and promote the company message of Quality, Reliability and Integrity.

Subsurface conditions and geotechnical recommendations can significantly impact on a project's financial success, beginning from site selection through to completion of foundations and site construction.  Experienced Group professionals were in attendance to offer valuable and practical advice on key issues and concepts in relation to our ground investigation services and our comprehensive geochemical and geo-environmental testing facilities.

The Geotex events are a series of annual regional seminars with a geotechnical focus.  The aim is to provide attendees with a unique opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in the construction industry’s geotechnical sector.  All the Group companies had successful interactive discussions, at the associated exhibitions in Birmingham and Newcastle, where they provided advice and outlined our services to developers, consultants and local authority officials.
